Secondary Curriculum 1A -2.2
Assessment 2 of Secondary Curriculum 1A mets the APST standard 2.2. This assessment requires students to think critically and display an in depth pedagogical understanding to create a lesson that flows and is able to meet the required NSW syllabus outcomes. This assessment covers the planning of lesson sequences using knowledge, content and effective teaching pedagogies. By completing this assignment I was required to think about the relevance of content, ensure it provides the vehicle to meet educational outcomes and is organised in a manner to assist students in developing skills and knowledge to demonstrate understanding. |
Secondary Curriculum 2A -2.3 The first assessment in the unit Secondary Curriculum 2A saw the ability to use curriculum, assessment and reporting knowledge to design learning sequences and lesson plans was developed through the creation of a Stage 6 unit of work in the key learning area of Design and Technology. In line with Standard 2.3, completion of this task demonstrates and understanding of curriculum and assessment in order to sequence learning of students to assist in meeting specific learning outcomes. |
